2026 Hot Wheels Treasure Hunt List, With Pictures

November 3, 2026

Short answer: there are 15 regular Hot Wheels Treasure Hunts in 2026, toy numbers JJM00 to JJM14, one per case from the ‘87 Buick Regal GNX (9/250, case A) to the Gazella GT (247/250, case Q). The most valued is the 2016 Ford GT Race at $8.98. The typical 2026 Treasure Hunt is valued at $5.41, against $3.09 for a plain 2026 mainline car, and nearly all of them were found at the normal shelf price.

Values are medians from Hunt64 collectors as of November 2026: what they paid, and what they value the car at now. A median appears once at least five collectors have contributed, and all 15 cars have one. Each car links to its own page, and the Hunt64 app has the live numbers as more collectors add prices. Looking for the rare ones with rubber tires? Those are Super Treasure Hunts, in our 2026 Super Treasure Hunt list.

Where the flame is on each car

A regular Treasure Hunt has normal paint and plastic wheels. The only mark on the car is a small flame-in-a-circle logo, and Mattel hides it in a different spot on every car. The card also carries a silver circle flame printed behind the car. Here is what to look for, with logo positions taken from the Hot Wheels fandom wiki’s 2026 list and checked against our photos:

Two of these, the Buick and the 2 Jet Z, have sparkly metalflake paint. That is not Spectraflame, and with plastic wheels they are regular Treasure Hunts, not Supers. The full checklist for telling the two apart, on the card and loose, is in how to tell a Treasure Hunt from a Super Treasure Hunt.

Is this list complete?

As far as we can tell, yes. Our catalog has 15 regular Treasure Hunts for 2026, and the fandom wiki’s 2026 page lists the same 15 toy numbers, JJM00 to JJM14, and no others: one per case mix from A to Q (the case letters skip I and O). That is the usual pattern. 2025 also had 15 regular Treasure Hunts, and every year since 2013 has had about 15. The 2027 Treasure Hunts have also started: the wiki already lists the first three (cases A to C, starting with the El Segundo Coupe, which is in our catalog too), and lays out its 2027 table with the same 15 case slots from A to Q. Everything points to case Q being the last of 2026.

The only differences we found are small. When we checked, the wiki had no photo yet for the two newest cars, the Skyline (case P) and the Gazella GT (case Q); both are pictured above. And the Gazella GT has only just crossed our five-collector line (seven valuations), so its $2.33 is the least settled number on this page and will move as more collectors log it. If a late addition does turn up, the live 2026 Treasure Hunts page picks it up as soon as it is in the catalog.

What the numbers say

Two real-car castings lead. The 2016 Ford GT Race ($8.98, from 120 collectors, the most of any 2026 Treasure Hunt) and the Nissan Skyline HT 2000GT-X ($8.25) are the only ones valued above $6.

Most sit in a tight band. Ten of the 15 are valued between $5.00 and $5.75. That is the going rate for a 2026 regular Treasure Hunt: a little under twice a plain 2026 mainline car ($3.09).

Almost all were found at retail. The median paid for every car on the list is between $2.33 and $3.33. None of them shows the reseller premium you see in the paid prices of several 2026 Supers.

The low end is close to a normal car. The Ford Model A Custom ‘31 is valued at $3.09, the same as a plain 2026 mainline, and the Gazella GT is too new to read much into.

For scale: the typical 2026 Super Treasure Hunt is valued at $67.01. A regular Treasure Hunt is a good find for set completion, not a money car. If a listing calls one “super rare”, you now know what collectors actually value it at.

Hunting tips for the rest of 2026

  • Learn the 15 collector numbers: 9, 29, 58, 81, 122, 124, 147, 162, 186, 196, 217, 229, 238, 244 and 247. A regular Treasure Hunt has no plain twin, so in 2026 a card with one of these numbers in the top corner is the Treasure Hunt. That is quicker than looking for the flame through the blister.
  • The newest are the last three cases. The Fast Fish (N), Skyline (P) and Gazella GT (Q) have the fewest collector records of the 15, which fits them being the last to reach stores. The earlier cases have been on the pegs for months.
  • Expect about one per case. According to the wiki, a full 72-car case typically holds one regular Treasure Hunt, so a freshly stocked peg is worth flipping through.
  • Record it the day you find it. Scan the card with Hunt64 to add it to your collection, and your price counts toward the community medians on this page. We explain how scanning works in our Hot Wheels scanner guide.

Where these values come from

Hunt64 collectors record what they paid for each car and what they value it at, in their own currency, converted to US dollars. For each release we publish the median, and only once at least five collectors have contributed, so a single wild sale cannot move it. Across all releases that is 74,500+ purchase prices and 78,700+ valuations from 9,300+ collectors, as of November 2026. Many castings, especially older ones, do not have five contributors yet and show no price. More on the method in what Hot Wheels are really worth.

Frequently asked questions

How many Treasure Hunts are there in 2026?

What is the most valuable 2026 Treasure Hunt?

The 2016 Ford GT Race (JJM05), valued at a median of $8.98 by 120 Hunt64 collectors as of November 2026, followed by the Nissan Skyline HT 2000GT-X (JJM13) at $8.25.

How much is a 2026 Treasure Hunt worth?

The typical 2026 regular Treasure Hunt is valued at $5.41 by Hunt64 collectors, against $3.09 for a plain 2026 mainline car. Every one of the 15 has a median price paid between $2.33 and $3.33, so almost all were found at shelf price. Figures as of November 2026.

How do you know if a 2026 Hot Wheels is a Treasure Hunt?

Look for the small flame-in-a-circle logo printed in the car's graphics, and the silver circle flame printed on the card behind the car. In 2026 the 15 Treasure Hunts are collector numbers 9, 29, 58, 81, 122, 124, 147, 162, 186, 196, 217, 229, 238, 244 and 247, and none of them has a plain twin.

Is the 2026 Treasure Hunt list complete?

As far as we can tell, yes. Our catalog and the Hot Wheels fandom wiki list the same 15 cars, one for each case from A to Q, the same count as 2025, and the first 2027 Treasure Hunts have already been identified.

What is the difference between a Treasure Hunt and a Super Treasure Hunt?

A regular Treasure Hunt has normal paint and plastic wheels, marked only by the circle-flame logo. A Super Treasure Hunt has Spectraflame paint, Real Riders rubber tires and a TH logo, and is far rarer: the typical 2026 Super is valued at $67.01 against $5.41 for a regular Treasure Hunt.
